There has been a lot of news coming out in the football video game world the last few weeks. From College Football 25’s reveal, to Madden NFL 25’s cover announcement, the football gaming community has been getting a lot of announcements recently. Not to be outdone, one popular arcade-style football game just announced some major content additions.
Season 5
This week, Cyanide Studio and NACON announced the new content coming to Blood Bowl 3 with the new Season 5 update. This new update, which is now available for all players, brings a new faction, unlockable rewards, as well as one of the most requested features for the game.
First, the new faction coming to the game is the Necromantic Horror. This faction is made up of a variety of classic monsters like werewolves, zombies, ghouls, and more. This faction is best suited towards a fast, hard hitting team. These players feature special abilities that help with regenerating health and resurrecting players who get knocked out on the field. With this faction, you are sure to strike fear into the hearts of your opponents.
Also included in Season 5 of Blood Bowl 3 is the much requested addition of cross-play. This addition will allow players to face off against any player on any platform. The Official Ladder has also been condensed to now feature a single ranking system. This feature will also be included in private leagues, with players from any platform being able to play.
Blood Bowl 3 is a turn-based football strategy game set in the Warhammer universe. Players take turns moving their players around a board game style field. You use dice rolls and special abilities to attack enemies, move around the field, and try to make your way towards the endzone. Blood Bowl 3 is available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
